My wedding day was one that I will never forget. While all my wedding preparations were being put in place for our special day, for me it started out with a few personal challenges including a very overcast day for my outdoor wedding. However, as the day progressed and it was time for my wedding, I was ready to be married and everything was beyond beautiful, went A-Ok thanks to my family and the expertise of Island Bride Jamaica.
I was running behind schedule because of my morning mishaps. My groom and wedding guests patiently awaited my grand arrival to St. Jude’s Church. The rain held up throughout the entire ceremony and reception, which was one of my main concerns. Thank the Lord it did not rain, the evening went just wonderfully and without any mishaps.
Our wedding reception was held at Boone Hall Oasis, where my wedding guests enjoyed cocktails on the deck overlooking the river. Our wedding co-coordinators, Island Bride Jamaica, had created a wonderful wedding theme: The Gift of Love, with a Plum and Fuchsia Color scheme. The team from Tai Flora Services brought their concept to life with centerpieces representing gift boxes bursting with flowers. During dinner my guests were entertained with live music from Maria Myrie, Dwight Richards and Chris McDonald. After Dinner our guests ended up dancing the night away once the DJ started playing his music.
